Fri, January 25, 2008 - 4:42 AMI think it's a proof of concept, I'd expect some software company to purchase it and build on it. -

Re: HDR video
Fri, January 25, 2008 - 1:03 PMAmazing. I wonder if the depth mask and tracking info can be used to extract motion-control paths? Then you could embed rendered graphics in a live world without a motion-control camera. -

Re: HDR video
Fri, January 25, 2008 - 4:09 PMOn that front, it would not be too different than syntheyes and bijou. From my own experience, I think I'd favor post tracking at this point over a motion control rig. Didn't love my experience shooting with motion control rigs. -

Re: HDR video
Sat, January 26, 2008 - 9:39 AMconsidering that it's generating a 3D point cloud like I have to imagine that extracting tracking data would be pretty simple, but I guess we will see. -

Re: HDR video
Sat, January 26, 2008 - 5:01 PMI'm sure the data is available. I'm just wondering if it's accurate enough to embed an object. Looks like it from the demo.
