Learn About Astrology in Exchange for Motion Graphics
About Us: James L. Neal has been studying astrology for over 30 years, and has developed a unique style of teaching the "science of astrology," one that is much more in-depth than any pop-culture newspaper column. He has focused on making astrology accessible to everyone. Astrology is one of the most effective self-help tools we have, so from a foundation of classes, speaking engagements and personal consultations, James produced his audio CD, "What is Astrology? Astrology at Your Own Pace.” And in order to enhance the effectiveness of this self-help tool, he is now looking to add visuals to the audio of that CD.
Job Description: This project is a "labor of love" and the ideal candidate should be passionately interested to learn about astrology in exchange for their expertise in motion graphics. We are looking for someone who is willing to contribute their expertise to this exciting project. And, in return, they will not only learn about astrology, but also about themselves. We are seeking to complete a 90 minute DVD which will be a mix of motion graphics, animation and live video, designed to instruct viewers and educate them about the science of astrology. There is a lot of potential for this to be an extremely creative and visually exciting DVD that would be a great portfolio piece! Please send a resume and cover letter to Lectureman12@aol.com
Required Skills: Proficiency in the following graphic and animation software on a MAC platform: Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, AfterEffects, Cinema4D & Final Cut Pro. Also, must be dedicated, respectful, and committed to the project from beginning through to the end.
